Grain Belt has been a Minnesota legend since 1893. Known in the early years as the Minneapolis Brewing Company, it changed hands several times over the years due to many brewing industry hardships. As fate would have it, Schell’s Brewery purchased the labels in 2002 and have been brewing it in New Ulm ever since.
